It is with our deepest regrets that we announce that The Red Snapper Inn will not be reopening. Words cannot express the appreciation for all the guests, employees, family, and friends who have supported our efforts to establish one of the best seafood restaurants on the Texas Gulf Coast. It has truly been a pleasure serving Brazoria County in Surfside Beach for over 37 years.
Two hurricane flood events, increasing seafood prices, supply shortages, rising insurance rates, property taxes, and COVID 19 have left us in an untenable position in our current location to serve the market at competitive prices while still insisting on serving fresh Gulf seafood. We look forward to the new opportunities and challenges that await us and to spending more time with our grandchildren. On behalf of the Red Snapper Inn, Stacie and I would like to thank you our guests as well as the many employees who loyally worked for us over the years to assist us in making us successful.
