"My Funny Valentine"
It's not very often someone is given the opportunity to design a menu and cook for one's special Valentine. This is just the opportunity I was afforded by asking my wife what she wanted for Valentine's Day. She replied that she wanted me to cook for her and then provided me with list of suggestions. As she began naming off a few requests,
I thought what a great menu, why not share that with our friends and guests at
"Dinner with the Chef"! You might imagine how well that went over, but we soon reached a compromise. I could use and cook her menu for her and our guests, and then I should come up with and prepare a special surprise Valentines Dinner for two without the kids! Isn't life grand? It's about great food, good friends, better wine, sharing stories, and creating moments one day at a time. And, lets not forget, compromises!
