CAPITOL TASTES
January 13, 2010

Closed

Growing up in and around Austin, I was exposed to not only a great live music scene, but many wonderful restaurants and eclectic cuisines. The list of many of my favorite Austin restaurants is large and exhaustive but if I had to name just a few they would include Botticelli's, Carla's, Cafe Tortugas, City Grill, Jambalaya, Mike and Charlie's, and
Hudson's-on-the-Bend. The following menu is a reflection of my interpretations on some of my favorites dishes from Austin in the late 70's to mid 80"s. Although some of the above restaurants have since closed, they are certainly not forgotten.
